An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Michael,
The Recovers sites are designed for organizing disaster preparedness and relief. If you'd like to join an existing site or start a new site, you can do so at https://recovers.org.

An error occurred while saving the comment Excellent point Riley! We are aiming to revamp a lot of the Ready.Recovers.org site over the course of the next several months. We will include this fix in the process. Thanks!

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Ken,
Thank you so much for the feedback and ideas! We are working to make small improvements in the software during the recovery effort, but some of the larger changes will take some time. Therefore, I will definitely take you up on your offer to discuss more about the process flow and your suggestions. I will reach out when things start to slow down a bit.
Thanks,

An error occurred while saving the comment And by link, I mean can you provide a link to an official FEMA source that states July 31st is in fact the deadline? Thanks.
An error occurred while saving the comment I agree this is a good idea. Can you confirm that July 31st is the actual deadline by providing a link to show this information?

An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for catching this; however, I may be a little unclear on the issue you have presented. If you are on the landing page (ready.recovers.org), the header image does not link anywhere because you are already on the Ready landing page. However, on all other pages, the Ready header does link back the the Ready Landing page.
Also, there is a link out to the Recovers Main Homepage (recovers.org) on every page of the Ready site (ready.recovers.org), located in the top right side of the page.
So what exactly are you wanting the header to do?
Thanks again for the feedback!

Hi Bill,
Yes, this is something that Recovers can help with.
1. Every community site in Recovers has its own Resources Map. See https://demo.recovers.org/resources for an example. This is where any vetted organization in your community can list its resources (and sheltering capabilities) along with its location. Additionally, each organization can update its available resources at any time so you have a clear picture of the situation post-disaster.
2. Regarding individuals such as HAM radio operators, they can all sign up as volunteers in the system with the skill of HAM. You will then be able to search the database of volunteers at any time for available HAM operators.
Hope that answers your question. Feel free to leave a comment if it doesn't and we'll get back to you!
