Improve accuracy of automatically suggested related articles
The search criteria for choosing related ideas is too broad. Most suggestions are off target. I suggest using a learning AI to improve the selection trained with user feedback indicators of perceived relevance.

Make banner reporting that you have successfully logged in smaller
In several places green banners pop up confirming a users actions. This information is useful but the layout needs improvement. Currently they cover up important on-screen information. I suggest making them smaller and have them fade away automatically after 1 minute.

Tutorial - Infographic
I think it would be very beneficial to have an infographic or 2-minute overview video that explains how to use this website/platform.
It should cover:
The Set-up of a New Community (this is helpful when a dormant/test community has been set-up [ex.Toronto] but new users have no understanding of the setup process or administration)
Clarify of User Roles & Responsibilities (if applicable).
Examples of How it is actually used in an emergency.

More Tags or Custom Tags
The current tags are good, but not sufficient. I need tags like "school" and "pets" so people are able to focus in on updates relating specifically to those topics. Perhaps allowing us to create custom tags would solve this problem.

Please fix my login right away
I'm working in both Sonoma County, CA and Shasta County, CA. I used a new email address when I registered for Shasta so I could move easily between the two communities. Now my Sonoma County login in doesn't work. This is TOTALLY unacceptable. Sorry to freak out but I'm responsible for the Sonoma County site and this morning I can't even get to the back end. First time user. Concept is great. Lot's of functionality, but very little current or credible data. It appears that most of the site has been abandoned. I question how many people will actually use it. All communities should show date of last post on the community search page so that users can see what's current. Love the idea.

List of badly needed features
- The ability to tag volunteers in comments so there is better flow of information
- Some sort of a central repository of donations by type so it's easier to match requestors to donors of specific donations
- Sorting/filtering by date, unmet vs met, available vs unavailable, locked etc.
- A way to represent potential match of requestor and donor, so further follow up can commence

Offline Mode, printable needs/case mgt
If there was an offline mode available (I'm thinking like an app/program) it would be very useful for initial disasters where there are generators but no phone/cell/internet yet. We were in this situation for a day, and if it had been longer it would have been tremendously limiting for using this site. Once internet is restored, the local info could be uploaded to the website. This has its own challenges of db mgt, but it would be useful if addressed.

Hi! I'm not sure if you guys remember but over a year ago, Chris commented on my page in Making All Voices Count's Global Innovation Competition 2015. We ended up getting gold, and after almost a year, we were able to (soft) launch Balangay in the most disaster prone area in the Philippines- Albay. Similarly, my company won a bid to start a "Smart City Transformation Project" in Legazpi City Albay. One of the core components of the project is Disaster Preparedness, Response and Recovery.

Your site copied out the names (but grayed out) of the 3-page and then of the 1-page attachments, I tried to send, and then it told me I hadn't chosen the file(s) yet.
