How can we improve Recovers.org?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

    Hi! I'm not sure if you guys remember but over a year ago, Chris commented on my page in Making All Voices Count's Global Innovation Competition 2015. We ended up getting gold, and after almost a year, we were able to (soft) launch Balangay in the most disaster prone area in the Philippines- Albay. Similarly, my company won a bid to start a "Smart City Transformation Project" in Legazpi City Albay. One of the core components of the project is Disaster Preparedness, Response and Recovery.

  2. Your site is not loading properly...

    Sorry, I cannot get it to load with Chrome or Internet Explorer. Is there any way to troubleshoot this? Thx and kids regards. I am blogging about Toyota Mother of Invention. and wanted ot include your award winning work too..

    Hi there. The lismore council gofundme campaign doesn't seem to be up on the recover website as an option for donating $.

  4. Offline Mode, printable needs/case mgt

    If there was an offline mode available (I'm thinking like an app/program) it would be very useful for initial disasters where there are generators but no phone/cell/internet yet. We were in this situation for a day, and if it had been longer it would have been tremendously limiting for using this site. Once internet is restored, the local info could be uploaded to the website. This has its own challenges of db mgt, but it would be useful if addressed.
    Also, as we interface with a relief organization who uses paper to track cases, the ability to print the needs…

  6. Accepted / Referred Donation Item Indicator

    A thought to add to the Donations side. An accepted or Referred or something indicator to note that a donated item has been utilized.
